Evelyn Zalwango has over eight years’ experience working in different areas of marketing, information technology, and community development. She is the founder of the Awaka Foundation for landmine survivors’ victims, women groups, and youth and works at Awaka Limited as the managing director where she is responsible for directing all company activities. Evelyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal University of India and a diploma in Interior Designing. Upon completion of the Mandela Washington Fellowship, Evelyn intends to continue her work with the landmine survivors’ victims around the country and to work with different organizations to skill women and the youth to fight unemployment.
