Boussoura Talla Gueye is a network and telecommunication engineer with seven years’ experience working in ICT projects deployment, project management, team management, and sales. She is currently working at CFAO Technologies as key account manager. She is the cofounder of SetTIC, the first e-waste recycling center in Senegal and is very engaged in protecting the environment in Senegal, as well as sensitizing the resident population. SetTIC provides e-waste collection and dismantling services as well as sensitization for populations, public, and private sectors to e-waste’s potential impact on health and the environment. She believes that managing e-waste in Africa is not only an opportunity to preserve the health of the environment, but also to create green jobs, especially for the youth and disabled. After completing the Fellowship, her goal is to develop SetTIC activities in Senegal and at a regional level.
